WORKING with David
David doesn’t really “work” with anyone, but he’s happy to have you walk along side him for a while. He believes that most people don’t need more trainings, seminars, diagrams, models, formulas or steps to achieve… whatever. What people really need is space... and a return to basics, fundamentals, not least of which is nature. Oh sure, David is happy to engage in any type of conversation ranging from the extreme existential to the eminently practical and believes that most of life’s most important questions are answered in the gym, during a yoga session, staring into a campfire, or just gazing up at the stars. He’s great at giving you new ideas, challenging pre-existing thoughts and assumptions and tearing holes in the narrative that society tries to sell us (as well as the one you’ve probably been trying to sell yourself).
ABOUT David
Following a 30-year career in business spanning sales, management, start-ups, business education and consulting, David now runs his own business from the mountains outside of Beirut, Lebanon. He has an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain, where he is also a Candidate for the Doctor of Business Administration. He is also a NCSF Certified Strength Coach, Personal Trainer and Sports Nutritionist. His primary attention and focus these days is on what he considers our “lost masculinity” and working on how “us men” can better understand and regain true masculinity and reclaim our place in our relationships, our families and our communities.
“Consider me as a fellow patient in the same hospital who, having been admitted a little earlier could give some advice” – CS Lewis
Beliefs
David’s core beliefs can be summed up in the words of the Alchemist, “All things are one thing” and the timeless advice of Mr Miyagi (which, if you’re lucky, he’ll mimic for you in his faux-Japanese accent), “Daniel-san, your best Karate, still inside you.”
CONNECT with David
and a LITTLE MORE about David
David doesn’t do much “desk work” anymore as he finds his mind is sharper and more creative when his body is engaged. So instead of a strategy meeting he practices calisthenics. In lieu of reacting to problems, you’ll find him in an Ashtanga yoga flow or some Tai Chi. For decisions of great magnitude and consequence… a ride on the bike tends to do the trick…
