Working with filmmaker Philippe

Taking two workshops with Philippe was an excellent opportunity for me to get to know the man behind the creative work he produces. Since then, we explored ideas to bring his experience, knowledge, and creative streak to organizations.

Being around and working with Philippe is the Tabasco on any good meal :-)! It’s been a privilege, and I’m sure it will be to any organization willing to embark with him on a journey.

About Philippe

Philippe Aractingi is an award-winning feature film director and a prolific storyteller, having produced over 70 documentaries. With an innate talent for capturing emotions and narratives that resonate deeply, his passion for filmmaking goes beyond the lens—he crafts compelling stories that bridge cultures and perspectives. No matter how ambitious the project, Philippe remains fearless in his creativity, seamlessly blending innovation with authenticity. His dynamic energy and keen artistic eye inspire those around him, turning every challenge into an opportunity to push the boundaries of cinematic expression.

Connecting with people, lending an ear to their stories, and bringing their emotions to life is my jam.

Fantascope
production

In addition to my work as a film director, I am the founder of Fantascope Production (1989). In between fiction and documentary films, Fantascope produced corporate films in France, Lebanon, and in the Gulf region. Among its films are a promotional video for The King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (K.A. CARE) in 2011, and a safety video for Middle East Airlines in 2016, whose main focus was to promote tourism and showcasing Lebanon’s touristic sites.

Fantascope also specialized in the production of films for museums, such as the one made for the Museum of the Central Bank of Lebanon in 2014 – which highlighted the history of paper money and coins from past eras –, the Beirut’s Archeological Museum of the American University in 2017, and the Ksara museum of wine in the Bekaa valley in 2020.
